I often tease Bill, who isn't much of a blog reader or writer, but who often brings up in conversation a topic recently discussed here. I just frustratingly and hopelessly say, "Read the Blog!" (Cue the music.) <br /><br />Coincidently with this post, I have been watching a number of the "7 Up" movies, namely 35-49. I have been somewhat disenchanted with these later movies. They certainly are no longer about class movement, but more of a titillating glimpse into the private lives of a group of unlucky people selected through no fault of their own. The first reality TV, if you will. <br /><br />However, some lessons can be learned or remembered. It is remarkable how every one of them get less selfish and kinder as they age. It really starts to show up at 28 or 35. Even the most selfish become amazingly focused on those other than themselves. It is quite remarkable.
