While it pains me to be drawn into barefaced self-promotion like this, I can't help but point out that this article validates everything I've ever said about same sex marriage, including my insistence that the notion of civil unions just doesn't cut the mustard, and that perhaps the most important thing is that same sex unions be called marriages.
The fact remains that I have never heard any rational argument against gay marriage which didn't somehow involve angels dancing on the head of a pin.
