I like the perspective.

The traditional notion that 'Christ died for our sins so we could be saved' never made a lot of sense to me. Hmm..so God was being held hostage by ....I'm not sure who?...mankind, the devil? ...and needed to have someone sacrificed (or God Himself sacrificed)...to undo the curse? The whole notion seemed silly. So, at least this new perspective makes more sense as well as re-inforcing much of what Jesus taught.

Peter, the elder, (who also agrees that the traditional notion makes little sense) and I met Myk in Harrisburg this weekend and spent Saturday visiting Gettysburg. Renée, Francis, and young Michael were also with us. It was a great day.
