Yes, this is the real Church. Of course, this is nothing new, but it is always nice to remember that there are people who not only devote their lives to the service of others, but also receive great joy and satisfaction from it.
Is it necessary to have the "old boys' club of the Vatican" to support such activities? is another question.
I have for a long time toyed with the idea that, like presidential term limits, every organization should have a finite life as part of its original charter--perhaps about 40 years.
