Ha Ha! In general I would agree. Even with this announcement I think there is a good chance someone may find an error or at least a mitigating circumstance. However, there are two things which lend evidence to the possibility that this is true:

1. This team seem to be true scientists—scientists' scientists. They do not seek publicity. They spent two years collecting data and trying to disprove it themselves. They humbly are welcoming others to find errors.

2. There never has been any law or theory in science that was universally true. There are always exceptions. I see no reason why relativity should be the first such theory that has no exceptions.

Principle #1:

We shouldn't lightly discard scientific theories which over the years have explained plenty.

Principle #2:

Through seeking we may learn and know things better.
But as for certain truth, no man has known it,
Nor shall he know it, neither of the gods
Nor yet of all the things of which I speak.
For even if by chance he were to utter
The final truth, he would himself not know it:
For all is but a woven web of guesses
― Xenophanes

Principle #3:

Avram: He's right and he's right? They can't both be right.
Tevye: You know, you are also right.
