Thanks Pete. Each year I am somewhat amazed that the site is visited an average of 40 times a day by returning visitors (those with cookies). I'm surprised because every time I mention something on the blog to anyone in the family around Pittsburgh, I just get a blank stare. I am probably 5 or 6 of those daily visits—an hour apart and probably a few others hit the site multiple times a day, but that still means there are 20 to 25 people somewhere in the world who are interested. That's better than sending out 8 letters or 12 emails. So, again, I urge those who send great letters or hilarious email videos, to consider posting them on the site.
Also, I know it takes time to write something, but there are fascinating topics from hospitals in Guatemala to lemurs in Madagascar to teaching in NY to history in St. Mary's, and many, many others, that can only be told by a very select few of individuals. And if they are not told, they will be lost forever. You have a unique story to tell and an eager audience. You think of yourself as creative. Well…?
