On December 1, 2008 In Progress had its first memorable and eloquent post, "First!" authored by Mike. This week marks the blog's first anniversary. An update on the blog-
Happy Birthday! Well done Pete! However, I would like to suggest a name change. "In Progress", despite its honorable origins, is not funny/clever/strange enough.
It appears we reached our zenith in May 2009. I went back to look at that month and, sure enough, our readers are not dumb. It contained, by far, the most interesting posts: "Don't Eat That Marshmallow" "World Turtle Day" "Future Beliefs" "God Talk" and my favorite: "How David Beats Goliath"

I'm still lobbying for 'Here I Stopped'
Has it only been a year? It seems like an eternity.
Could we have a re-post of original ideas for names, plus any other names people have come up with over the past twelve months?
Oops, I confused March with May, a common mistake. Apparently what is hot is Mt. Lebanon family videos or vampires.
As to names, I was thinking of "The House of Being", as I often do (you know, language) and I thought a good name may be, "The Ouch of Being".
So many visitors so few comments.
It's been quite a year. A round of applause for Pete.
