We are all concerned about reality, right?

The author's science is undoubtably stronger than his philosophy, but this article is an interesting, if incremental, read.

"I hate when we play Quantum State in football. Besides never knowing the exact position and momentum of each pass, I get an uncomfortable feeling that all those observers in the stands help determine the outcome of the game." —anonymous

Jim says always read the comments. They are frequently more interesting and insightful than the article itself. Several of the comments here refer to the Douglas Adams line: “There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable. There is another theory which states that this has already happened.”
