The perfect biological weapon for an unscrupulous military

For the last 2 weeks I have been confined to my house with poison ivy with no end in sight. I am willing to tell every secret, military or not, I know, in exchange for some relief. Like waterboarding, one may not get the information wanted, but they will get everything the victim can give. Unlike waterboarding, it is relentless.

Agreed - poison ivy might be the greatest natural torture device ever. The day before my dad and I went to England and France after graduating high school, I got poison ivy. I spent the first few days in England with a swollen leg at least twice the size of normal. You can confirm with Kevin McDonough (who's house we stayed in for a few nights) how miserable I was.

First, I assume that you have consulted with Mary. I had one very severe case on my calf that was oozing so badly that it soaked my pant leg. Fortunately, it was fairly localized just on the calf. My doctor treated it as a third degree burn with silvadene lotion, and it worked liked a charm. My son Tom also had a bad case of poison ivy all over his face. His face swelled up so much that it looked like he'd been in a fight. ("It's OK, Mom, I can still see.") The pediatritian gave him prednisone, and you could almost see the poison ivy disappearing.

Sorry, it's "pediatrician." I hate it when I do that.

I have this now, with a newborn. It spread from my arm to boob,, so I am now breastfeeding through poison ivy blisters. I thought I knew what hell was, I was wrong.

Ouch! I assume you've talked to your doctor.
