The Supreme Court approves forced arbitration in blocking class action suits
I'd be interested in hearing what those trained in the subtle and seductive legal arts think about this ruling. To my ignorant and untrained eye, it seems like a reasonable ruling.
Who steals my purse steals trash; 'tis something, nothing; 'Twas mine, 'tis his, and has been slave to thousands; But he that filches from me my good name Robs me of that which not enriches him And makes me poor indeed.
That's sort of like a class action. In most class actions, a win does not enrich the individual plaintiff much but, especially after attorneys' fees, can make the defendant poor indeed.

In Othello we hear this:

'Twas mine, 'tis his, and has been slave to thousands;
But he that filches from me my good name
Robs me of that which not enriches him
And makes me poor indeed.
