Historic Game
This is more of a Facebook post, but it's historic enough for the blog. Never have two undefeated teams played for the NCAA basketball championship—men or women. That is about to change when Notre Dame faces Connecticut for all the marbles on Tuesday at 8:30. And if that isn't historic enough, Mt. Lebanon's Madison Cable will be playing for Notre Dame. Yes, Dale's daughter, Mr. Cable's granddaughter. While she won't start, she will have a pivotal role as one of Notre Dame's strengths is their bench. She actually led the team in scoring one game, and has dramatically improved her play and minutes this year. Isn't it always the fighting Irish against those nasty (New) Englander's?
