Well, Sean, since you're working so hard at this... not sure if I agree with all of your analysis, but I'll give you some help with the first part of the last clue: Reduced version of a ship sinker IS Berg (as in "iceberg"). And he directed the movie, Sahara. How's that? As for the other part, I live in Atlanta and can't for the life of me figure it out. If you have an idea, much appreciated...
