TED, but mostly E

The jury is still out on whether TED Talks are
  1. "ideas worth spreading"
  2. Oprah II - inspirational couch
  3. circus performing scientists
  4. primetime infomercials
T.E.D., after all, does stand for Technology, Entertainment, and Design. This first one fits all three spectacularly, but the purpose may be that we need more than that to have a purpose.

This one, again, has all three with a purpose of the "E" part of TED.

That is a crazy viral advertisement. Loved how they fit in the name of the movie and married it with TED, though the size audience like that in 11 years for ted?! Maybe for iPhone 8s...

You can poke fun if you want, but this blog has kept its high standards in part by relying on TED. The following entries -- probably a partial list -- shared some fairly fascinating bits of wisdom: Jonathan Haidt: The real difference between liberals and conservatives; Sam Harris: Science can answer moral questions; The Future's So Bright I Gotta Wear Shades.
