I know some of you are inspired by Carl Sagan, but this pretty much sums him up for me. Is anyone else reminded of William Shatner?
Now John Matese and Daniel Whitmire, on the other hand—they have my inspiration. They are real scientists, who, hopefully, don't talk in clichéd poetry.
Though I couldn't take your insinuation that Sagan is not a real scientist seriously because his 600 papers and 20 books speak for themselves. Also, we all know your criticisms of Sagan is just a thin veil covering the real reason for your disdain of him. Sagan didn't want his name associated with fake science, "Cold Fusion" and "Piltdown Man" and sent a cease and desist letter to your beloved Apple company. Later suing because of Apple's response.
